Hamilton County Ranked 6th in Social Security Income Survey • Current Publishing

Financial technology firm SmartAsset recently conducted a survey of where Social Security income extends furthest in Indiana counties. Social Security income can vary by location, depending on things like the cost of living and the amount of Social Security income that local retirees typically claim.

The SmartAsset study found that Hamilton County was one of the places where Social Security incomes go the furthest. The study analyzed Social Security income in each county against the local cost of living to determine where retirees’ Social Security lasts the longest.
